
CTET or Central Teacher Eligibility Test is conducted for the CBSE Delhi to be eligible for the post of teachers from I to VIII classes in schools. The CTET is compulsory for becoming teachers both in government and private schools. It is a precondition for teachers in other aided or non-aided schools. The exam is normally held in the month of December.
CTET or Central Teacher Eligibility Test Educational Qualification
For I-V Classes
- Students should have passed a Senior Secondary or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks
- Senior Secondary or equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education
For VI-VIII Classes
- They should have passed a B.A., B.Sc., B.Com. and passed or appearing in final 2nd-year Diploma in Elementary Education
- A., B.Sc., B.Com. with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1st Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)

CTET Patten
The exam consists of MCQs from relevant qualifying exams. In addition to this, there is no negative marking. Each question carries one mark.
